Natural materials
All products are produced from natural birch plywood and finished with oil wax. Most of the plywood we use is CARB2 (as free of formaldehyde),
FSC certified.
We use Osmo
and Treatex toned waxes which are produced using the most contemporary
production methods ensuring the best possible treatment of the wood. The waxes
are professional yet user and environment friendly and suited to all interior
wood surfaces.
The wax is made from natural raw materials that
let the wood „breathe“ and maintain its natural beauty. Surfaces treated with
oil wax are extra strong and durable repelling water and dirt. The surface
sustains stains from wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, juice, milk and other
liquids. Stains can be removed without any traces. Should renovation even of
small surfaces be required it is easily done by cleaning and retreating the
surface with the oil wax. No burnishing or removal of the old oil wax is
required.
Wood veneer parts should only be cleaned with a damp cloth in the direction of the grain. Afterwards dry immediately with a lint free cloth. Spilled liquids should be removed instantly, otherwise rings may build. Do not use furniture polish. Hot objects should not be deposited on the surface, as this may result in discoloration.
The wax consists of natural vegetable oils and
waxes (jojoba, linseed and sunflower oil, beeswax, candelilla and carnauba
wax). The product does not contain biocides and preservatives therefore no
hazardous material classification is required. The product is physiologically
safe and can be used for treating toys.
